Stephen is a well-established and very experienced litigator, with many year’s experience. He grew up in Liverpool and attended UCLAN university where he obtained an honours degree in Law (LLB), he then went on to do the Legal Practice Course.
He trained with a large Personal Injury firm in the North West, and qualified as a Solicitor in their highly-respected serious injury team. Upon qualification he moved on to work for a Top 30 international law firm, where he was promoted to Legal Director within 5 years.
Stephen joined Armstrong Solicitors in 2014 as a senior Solicitor.
Stephen specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution with a particular focus on Professional Negligence claims, but also deals with a highly diverse range of disputes. Stephen has been instructed on a group action involving historic physical and sexual abuse.
Stephen also deals with medical and dental negligence claims and has a growing case load of these matters.
Stephen also is seeing increasing instructions in his Defamation and misuse of private information practice. He also has been instructed by clients who have instructed Solicitors have been negligent in dealing with these type of claims.
Stephen’s particular strength is dealing with complex high-value claims and making his clients feel welcome and listened too, whilst maintaining a calm approach to the day to day running on a case.
Stephen is friendly and approachable and will consider all cases on a Conditional fee agreement (CFA) ‘No win, No fee’ basis.
In My Spare Time
Stephen is married with a 2 ½ year old boy, Max who keeps him on his toes.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Stephen enjoys travelling to different parts of the world and is a keen follower of American sport and politics. Besides this Stephen a keen Liverpool FC fan.
