What will your claim cost?
We always aim to get you the maximum amount of compensation that you are entitled to recover as quickly as possible with the minimum of disruption to yourself and without you having to pay a large bill to your opponent. There are a number of methods available to fund a claim:
- No win, no fee - You enter into a conditional fee agreement. We will always try and arrange insurance if possible at no cost to you which will protect you from having to pay either our own or the other side’s legal costs. In most cases win or lose you won’t have to pay a penny.
- Legal expense insurance – you will need to look through your home contents/credit card or any other insurance policy you may have to see whether or not you have legal expense insurance. Such policies often cover you for your own and your opponent’s legal costs. Let us have a look at your insurance policy and we will tell you whether you are covered.
- Public funding (Legal Aid) – Legal Aid is generally only available in fairly limited circumstances. Armstrongs do not offer legal Aid… If you wish to seek public funding for your claim we would suggest you go to www.legalservices.gov.uk.
- Private paying – this is where you are responsible for own costs. You agree to pay Armstrongs’ costs and disbursements bringing the claim. It is still possible to arrange an insurance policy to cover you against your opponent’s costs. We will always give you detailed information regarding costs.
Armstrongs will consider with you and explain fully the best options available to you.
