Sophie Holland

Sophie is a Paralegal in the Professional Negligence Department in Liverpool; she completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2021 and her Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) in 2022.

Sophie’s work has a strong emphasis on supporting her clients and she understands the importance of building a rapport with them from the outset.

Sophie believes in the value of “no win no fee” practice. She advocates that it provides access to justice for people who desperately need it, but would otherwise lack the financial capability. Sophie states: “If I were in the same position as many of our clients, I would want someone to help me.”

Sophie demonstrates a shrewd attention to detail and has a great ability to find errors in opponents’ documents, which frequently provide her clients with tactical advantages. Sophie is resolute in her approach to cases, and investigates every avenue which might help the client.

Sophie is warm and empathetic, and endeavours to add a personal touch to her cases through regular communication with her clients. Sophie believes it is very important to ask her clients how they are doing, as she is aware they are often going through a difficult time.

Sophie enjoys the rigorous challenges of the professional negligence department and managing such a variety of cases. Sophie greatly appreciates the support and collaborative nature of her team.

Sophie’s ultimate goal is to guide her clients to a position where they can move forward with their lives.

Outside the office, Sophie is an avid reader and regularly attends the gym, particularly enjoying spin classes.
