Trainee SolicitorYing is a Trainee Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence Department at Been Let Down.

Ying joined Been Let Down in September 2022 and currently has 2 years’ experience working on clinical negligence cases. She currently works as a Trainee Solicitor in our Clinical Negligence Department, hoping to qualify in 2026.
As a Trainee Solicitor, Ying conducts her own case load as well as assisting the other solicitors in her team on various complex and high value cases.
As well as working on Clinical Negligence cases, Ying has also worked in the Public Inquiries team. Her work consisted of assisting Lady Justice Thirlwall in the Thirlwall Inquiry, which aims at examining the events that took place at the Countess of Chester Hospital and its implications following the trial, retrial and subsequent conviction of Lucy Letby of murder and attempted murder of babies at the hospital.
Ying is passionate about her work and will do what it takes to achieve the best outcome for her clients, in the hope that it will provide them with a sense of justice and peace.
