We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Godfrey as Head of Professional Negligence and Helen Neville as Deputy Head of Clinical Negligence.
Been Let Down would like to warmly welcome acclaimed lawyers Rob Godfrey as Head of Professional Negligence and Helen Neville as Deputy Head of Clinical Negligence.
Both highly recognised and acclaimed lawyers within their respective fields, they will be valuable assets to their departments, combining over 40 years’ experience between them. Rob and Helen will be exemplary leadership figures within the firm, with their approach to litigation and providing access to justice strongly aligned with Been Let Down’s ethos.
They will add to their departments’ superb reputation in dealing with high value, complex cases, having successfully handled multi-million-pound claims. The Professional Negligence department has a notable reputation in solicitor and property negligence matters while the Clinical Negligence team deal in a range of cases including maternity and surgical negligence alongside cancer misdiagnosis and more.
As Head of Professional Negligence at Been Let Down’s Liverpool office, Rob Godfrey will lead the team with ambitions to place the firm among the go-to solicitors for all matters relating to this area of law.

Clinical Negligence Solicitor Helen Neville will take on the role of Deputy Head of Clinical Negligence in Liverpool, managing high value complex cases alongside supervision of the team.
